Kimberly S. Sweeney

Attorney Kimberly S. Sweeney is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She graduated Jackson State University, W.E.B. Dubois Honors College with a Bachelors in Marketing. As a college student, several of Kimberly's professors told her that should consider law school because of her ability to thoroughly analyze scenarios and formulate comparative agruments. After entering the work force for four years, Kimberly applied and was accepted into Mississippi College School of Law in 2006.

During her law school studies, Kimberly served as a guardian ad Litem through the Child Advocacy Program and was instrumental in determining the best interest of the child(ren) in custody, support and adoption matters. Kimberly also worked as the garnishment clerk for the legal department Trustmark National Bank. It was during this employment that she was exposed to bankruptcy and collection matters or both creditors and consumers. Kimberly interned with several agencies and law offices in the areas of personal injury, federal defense, family law, victim compensation, premises liability and bankruptcy. Kimberly served as a case analyst for the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee James L. Henley, Jr., in 2011 and afterwards, upon successfully passing the Mississippi Bar in February 2012, became an Associate Attorney for Goss & Williams in June 2012.

InNovember 2013, Kimberly formed The Law Office of Kimberly S. Sweeney to offer her legal asistance in criminal law, bankruptcy, family law, youth court matters, personal injury and more.
